Lethal Weapon star Damon Wayans broke his silence via Twitter Monday night, revealing the extent of the chaos he says resulted in the firing of co-star Clayne Crawford.

However, as of Tuesday morning, Wayans’ account was no longer active. USA TODAY obtained screenshots of his posts.

In one tweet, Wayans, 57, shared a photo of the back of his bleeding head, which he said was an incident that took place while filming the April 24 episode, which Crawford directed. “How does the shrapnel from this hit me on the opposite side of the head?” Wayans asked, adding “#directedby@claynecrawford.”

Crawford previously addressed this incident on Instagram in April, without naming his former co-star. He divulged to followers he was twice reprimanded during the show’s current, once while directing.

“An actor on set felt unsafe because a piece of shrapnel from an effect hit him,” he explained. “It was an unfortunate event that happened in spite of all safety precautions and procedures being followed. I take responsibility for the incident because I was in charge of the set.”

Crawford said the first time he was reprimanded was over his reaction to “working conditions that did not feel safe or conducive to good work under the leadership of a guest director and assistant director who, in turn, were angry at my response.”

“I met with Human Resources, I apologized for my part of the conflict, and I completed studio-appointed therapy,” Crawford continued. “I even shared a sizable portion of my paycheck with one of the parties involved per the instruction of the studio.”

Forgive my delayed response. #truth

For Wayans, his head injury wasn’t his only gripe. The actor-comedian also shared a photo of what he says “other people were posting in and around the lot”: a sticker that read “Clayne Crawford is an emotional terrorist.”

“He became UNINSURABLE!” Wayans alleged. “Relished in making female(s) cry. And (struck) fear in cast and crew.”

Wayans also claimed Crawford was physically abusive, writing “He hit another actor in the mouth with a bottle of green tea and busted his mouth open” and tagging an account for actor Lance Henriksen. (USA TODAY has reached out to Henriksen’s rep for comment.)

In a NSFW tweet, Wayans said Crawford “has a file of infractions” and asked Warner Bros. to “#releasethetapes.”

USA TODAY’s attempts to contact Wayans, Crawford and Warner Bros. were not immediately returned.

Crawford, who was dismissed Friday, had played Martin Riggs (the role played by Mel Gibson in the movie) to Wayans’ Roger Murtaugh, (the role originated by Danny Glover). By Sunday, Fox had replaced the 40-year-old Crawford with American Pie star Seann William Scott (who will play a new character) and renewed the show for a third season.

Upon learning the news, Crawford congratulated his former colleagues on the show’s renewal via Instagram. He added, “To the Fans – Thank you for the overwhelming support and love. Riggs was a dream role and the experience will live with me forever. My heart is full. Good Luck (next) season!!”
