The Mountain Laurel Quilt Guild will host Betty Neff, who lectures, teaches workshops and retreats and works with museums to further public knowledge of vintage quilts, at 7 p.m. Oct. 16 in the Gmeiner Art and Cultural Center, 134 Main St., Wellsboro, Pennsylvania.
Neff will explore her design philosophy to inspire quilting imagination, quilting horizons and quilting footprints. Members and guests are encouraged to bring projects to show based on Neff’s patterns or a workshop. A short business meeting and the sharing of recent projects by members will be held before the presentation.
Patterns created by Neff will be available for sale after the presentation.
